How To Add Your Known Traveler Number
With TSA PreCheck, There's No Need to Remove Your Shoes, Belt, or Laptop.  Make Sure Your Known Traveler Number Is Attached to Your Booking!

Here are instructions for adding your Known Traveler Number to 6 major US airlines.  It only takes a minute.  And once you add it, it's automatically applied to your upcoming flight bookings with no other action needed!

1.   Alaska Airlines

After you log into the Alaska Airlines website, click the dropdown menu that says, "Hi, [Your Name] ," then " Profile and Tier Status ."

Next, click " Traveler Profiles " on the left.

On the "Traveler Profiles" Page, Click "Edit My Information"

Then click "Edit My Information ."

Scroll down until you see the " Known Traveler Number " section.  Then add your number, click " Save ," and you're done!

2.   American Airlines

Log into the American Airlines website.  Then click " AAdvantage " in the top right corner, and " My Account " from the dropdown menu.

From there, select " Information and Password " in the top left.

Scroll down until you see the " Secure Traveler " section on the next page.

Fill-in the information and click " Save ."

3.   Delta

It's very simple to update your Delta profile after you log-in.

On the main page, click your name in the top right corner to get started.

On the dropdown menu, select " Profile ."

On the next page, look for a box under " Basic Info " on the left that says, " TSA PreCheck/Known Traveler/Redress ."  Click the link to add your Known Traveler Number and hit " Save Changes " to exit.  That's it!

4.   JetBlue

After you log-in, click the " True Blue " box in the top right corner.

Then navigate to the " Profile " link on the left.

You'll find the " TSA PreCheck " section near the bottom.  Click the pencil icon to edit the information and add your Known Traveler Number.  Then click " Update " to save it to your profile.

5.   Southwest

To get started, log-in and click " My Account " at the top of the page.

Then, scroll to the bottom of the page and look for the " My Preferences " section.

Click " Edit ," then add your Known Traveler Number and click " Save ."

6.   United Airlines

After you log-in, click " View Account ."

On the next screen, scroll down to the " Profile " section near the bottom.

Click "Edit Traveler Information" to Make Updates

Then click " Edit Traveler Information ."

Near the top, there's a place to add your Known Traveler Number beneath your name.  Click " Continue " to save it to your profile.

In each case, adding your Known Traveler Number (KTN) only takes a minute!  So there's no reason to miss out on a better airport security experience if you have Global Entry or TSA PreCheck membership.
